Obama Lays Out Case for Second Term: 'Our Problems Can Be Solved'

Last week, the Republican National Convention in Tampa Florida ended with their party’s leader, Mitt Romney, giving his concluding remarks and outlining his vision for the future of the party and America. This week is no different as President Obama continued the tradition by wrapping up the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte North Carolina last night. The President focused on his accomplishments, criticism of the opposition, and his plan for the future of this nation and how he plans on us getting there. The atmosphere seemed slightly more energetic at the DNC help in part by the smaller, noise amplifying arena, but also thanks to the historic speech by former President Clinton the prior night. President Clinton’s purpose was to be the political attack dog of the Democrats and talk positively about the Presidents accomplishments, and why he should be reelected. Crist Christie from New Jersey had a similar responsibility with his speech at the RNC but failed in comparison as he spent almost a half hour before mentioning Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Some might have viewed this as a set up for a 2016 Presidential run which added to why President Clinton did a better political job because he kept the focus on President Obama and getting him reelected. Clearly I deferred from mentioning in detail the President’s speech because it is presented below and watching it in its entirety is the best way to determine whether  you agree with what he said or not.
